Jeff's drawing of the Darter - age unknown

Found this at Grandma's house. Had to scan it in because it's pretty awesome. I think I was 8 or 9 when I drew it. It was supposed to be the grounding of his submarine, but I envisioned an epic battle scene with bursting shells and guns blazing and a tattered battle flag on the mast as the crew refused to surrender to the enemy. It didn't happen like that, but I didn't know and I was just told he was a war hero. 

I didn't know what the tail end of the sub looked like so I gave it a tail fin like an airplane.
